Welcome to the new Advanced Planning Blog.  Advanced Planning is a service provided by Federated Funeral Directors of America (FFDA), a company that has been helping funeral directors since 1925. 

 

In the coming months we will attempt to provide helpful information on many topics that relate to the funeral industry.  Specifically, we will focus on issues that are relevant to today's funeral home owner.  We will cover succession and estate planning issues.  We will post about issues relating to the value of your funeral home.  We will discuss acquisitions, sales and mergers.  The economy and its impact on the industry will also be a prevalent theme.  And much, much more.
